Q&A with Laura Taylor

Laura Taylor – Investor Relations Specialist

Laura recently sat down for a mini-interview about her role with Zion Oil. Many of our shareholders and friends talk with Laura every day, so we thought we would let you know a little more about the person behind the face for Zion Oil & Gas.

Q: Laura, tell us about your role for Zion Oil.

A: As an Investor Relations Specialist, I am here to help our shareholders and supporters by answering emails, live web chats on our website and calls to our office. I also help respond to requests on our social media outlets, like Facebook and Twitter. I assist people throughout all stages, from answering initial questions about the process to providing long-term support after an investment is made.

Q: What do you enjoy most?

A: My interactions with our shareholders mean a lot to me. It’s a great feeling when you’re able to help someone with a problem, or just explain something so that they understand it more clearly. I think Zion has the best shareholders of any company!

Q: How has John Brown’s leadership impacted you?

A: John Brown’s faith has had a profound impact on my life. God uses him to bless so many people. His generous spirit is probably one of my favorite things about him. On more than one occasion, he has shared Scripture verses with me that God placed on his heart. Not many CEO’s do that.

Q:  How do you feel about Zion’s Vision?

A: I love knowing I am helping Israel. Once Israel has her own supply of oil and gas, she will not have to rely on other countries for that important resource. To play a part in that discovery by working for Zion is a tremendous honor.

Q: Okay last one, and maybe the most important: How do you feel about Israel?

A: My parents instilled in me a love for Israel at a young age. For example, when I was in elementary school, my dad taught me about the Israelites through an in-depth study of the Old Testament. I was always amazed at God’s love for His chosen people, even when they would turn away from Him, time after time. It made me feel special, knowing His love for me was just the same, and no matter how many mistakes I make, He will always be there for me with arms wide open.

This post is the first in a series of employee interviews. Be sure to check back soon for our next interview with Zion’s Marketing Support Representative.
