Israel honors Tisha B’Av July 21-22 (Saturday night-Sunday) this upcoming week. Also known as the 9th of Av, this is the very solemn fast day when all remember the destruction of both Temples and also many times of severe afflictions that befell the Jewish people – a very sad day when most Jews fast in reflection.
However, as we are IN the Jubilee 50th year and 70th years and Trump has honored Israel by acknowledging Jerusalem is the capital of Israel (fulfilling Luke 21:24), we are now times of GLORIOUS resurrection and restoration Zech 1:16!
Tisha B’Av is going to be remembered for a very different reason very soon! Get ready for the season of sorrow and affliction is OVER praise be to the Holy One! The time to favor Zion is now!

A friend of mine named Paul has been fighting melanoma. It has caused tumors in his brain as well as other areas. We received great news last week that the form of cancer he has can be treated by a new drug approved 18 days ago. Unfortunately, it is a new drug, so the insurance company may play the usual games and delay approval at a time when starting treatment is critical in giving him a chance to be healed.
We serve the one and only true God. Please believe with me that He will lead the insurance company to approve the treatment immediately and Paul will experience complete recovery to God’s Glory.
I want to impress upon all who pray that this entire family is truly a godly family.
Also, please help all of the family’s friends understand what the family needs, including financial needs, so that we may support them in this critical time of their lives.
Dear God, I lift up Paul to you. Lord, I know You love Paul and his family and have good plans for them (Jer. 29:11-13). I pray, along with Jim, for complete healing for Paul. I pray that You would allow treatment for Paul to begin right away, I pray for no delays in Paul’s healing, in Jesus’ name. Amen
