Test of Faith

Update December 3, 2014

It has been a long test of our “faith” and patience (James 1:3) since our last well (Ma’anit – Joseph #3) was completed in July 2011. Since then, we have had to spend a lot of time and money preparing to drill our next well(s) on our Megiddo –Jezreel License, a 99,000 acre area onshore Israel where we have the exclusive right to drill. The drillsite selection process for our first well(s) is now complete after many months of seismic acquisition and interpretation studies along with other geological and geophysical analysis from our exploration staff (geologists, geophysicists, and engineers) from both Dallas and Israel.

Now that we have selected the specific location for our drill site, our Zion team is working diligently with third party contractors (GeoProspect and Ya’ad Architects) to finalize the environmental impact document for submission to Israel’s Environmental Ministry in January 2015.

Our team, in my opinion, has given us a very thorough geological and geophysical review. This team consists of the following persons:

  • Victor G Carrillo – Geologist/Geophysicist
  • Dr. Bill Wepfer – Processing Geophysicist
  • Dr. Lee Russell – Geologist/Geophysicist
  • Dr. Charlie Druckman – Geologist
  • Moshi Politi – Geologist/Geophysicist
  • Forrest Garb – Reservoir Engineer
  • Liat R. Shindler – Geophysicist
  • Glen Perry – Petroleum Engineer
  • Orna B. Leviatan – Geologist
  • Rachel Srugo – Biologist (Environment / Safety)

Your prayers are very helpful and much appreciated as we seek God’s direction and guidance in the complex process of seeking a drilling permit for our next deep well to be drilled in 2015.

IMPORTANT: The current Direct Stock Purchase Plan (DSPP) Unit offering will expire on December 31, 2014 and will not be extended. Since inception of the DSPP, the company has collected over $5 million from the DSPP. Learn more by clicking HERE.
