The Faces of Zion: Q&A with Connie Aultman

Connie Aultman – Marketing Support Representative

Q: Tell us about your role for Zion Oil & Gas.

A: I work on our Marketing team to share Zion’s vision with others. I also answer calls and review our web interactions to ensure that our supporters receive a personal response and quality service. My goal is to constantly improve the way we operate to make the experience better for our Zion Family.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?

A: Working for people whose desire and passion is to support Israel is the most rewarding part of my job.  I love explaining our Vision and giving glory to God in how he has sustained Zion Oil & Gas through it all.

Q: What brought you to Zion Oil & Gas?

A: God led me here in the Fall of 2013 through a friend from my local church. I had not been able to work for several months because of a back injury and major surgery. The support and opportunities I have received from those at Zion have helped me through a very hard season. I hope I can give back to the company as much as they have given me.

Q: How has working with John Brown impacted you?

A: John has been a major encouragement to me. What he says in normal conversation often confirms specific instructions God has given me. John’s faith is contagious and has helped me to grow personally and professionally.

Q: How do you feel about Zion’s Vision?

A: Zion’s Vision is unique. Several companies are looking for oil and gas in Israel, but none have the faith and drive that we do. In God’s economy, the heart of a person is the most important aspect of any situation. The person’s strength, status or experience means nothing because God is big enough to handle the rest, as long as his heart is right. That is what excites and motivates me about Zion’s Vision. We will never be the biggest company out there, but we are constantly before God ensuring that our hearts are in the right place.

Q: What does Israel mean to you?

A: The more I learn, the greater my love and support is for the Jewish people. They have gone through so much and have yet to see the freedom and rest that has been promised to them. Although I have never been there, my heart and my home is in Jerusalem!
