While the article speaks to oil potential, it also highlights the importance of further testing.
Zion has also been awaiting results from Afek Oil and Gas’ project in the region northeast of Zion’s current license area. We continue to pray for God’s blessing through energy independence for Israel.
Zion Oil’s vision is for an energy independent Israel resulting from large commercial onshore oil discoveries. We believe that Israel not only has the requisite geological elements but also the biblical foundation for oil… It is only a matter of God’s timing.

We share news about Afek Oil because of its proximity to our future work in the Jezreel Valley and because we are praying for an energy independent Israel. You may see the exact location of Zion’s proposed drilling location HERE!
I would be very interested in being there to help and do my part. But as a disabled veteran I am limited on my energy and value to do much except to bring prayer into this blessing everyday. I can be one 0f many to ask for this mission to get started and to begin the treasure hunt. Until that opening is open I will do my part here..May the Lord Jesus bless you each day.
