The Faces of Zion: Q&A with Georgina Cain

Georgina Cain – Investor Relations Specialist

Q: Tell us about your role for Zion Oil

A: I am a part of the investor relations team. I spend most of my day communicating with investors and potential investors via telephone and email. I answer your general investment questions, questions about your account and share Zion’s vision with all who are interested. I also process investments and make sure all information is correct for our shareholders so that shares are issued and accounts are set up. My role also includes occasional online chatting on our website and general administrative tasks.

Q: How has John Brown’s leadership impacted you?

A: John’s leadership has impacted me greatly both professionally and spiritually. I am encouraged by his personal relationship with Christ and how he lives his life on a mission each day to bring others to Christ and to bless Israel by spending his life to search for oil. He never gives up and inspires us to keep going. He is always supportive to all of us here at the office. Through his leadership I have been more encouraged to stay strong in the midst of adversity, learned more about Israel and scripture, and am thankful for the example he leads us with daily, which is to focus on our goals and relationship with Christ as we are ultimately working for God.

Q: What do you enjoy about working at Zion?

A: I enjoy working for a mission that is solely focused on blessing God’s nation and following scripture. I absolutely love having great conversations with Zion supporters from all over the world who are so kind. Many have asked me how they can pray for me personally and for us here at Zion and having those conversations is heartwarming. I am SO THANKFUL that I get to speak with our amazing shareholders each day. Also, I love to serve and help others so working in Investor Relations allows me to serve others every single day!

Q: What brought you to Zion Oil?

A: God brought me to Zion Oil, it truly was a divine appointment. I previously worked in the Social Work field and took some time off to pursue a new career. I met Andrew Summey, Online Communications Manager, at my church once, but did not contact him as I was not quite ready to dive into the job search. About two months later I posted my resume on the LinkedIn page of my home church and Andrew called me the next day! The Lord made it so obvious to me that I belong at Zion and I am grateful for his provision.

Q: How do you feel about Zion’s Vision?

A: Zion’s vision is purely based on God’s word and Truth. I care deeply for any company or individual who wants to bless Israel (Genesis 12:3). As a Christian, I know I have been called to love and support God’s chosen people. I believe in every aspect of Zion’s vision and I am thankful to have the opportunity to learn more about Israel and the search for oil in this holy land. I am more passionate about Her than I ever have been before!
