Afek Oil and Gas drilling stirs up excitement in Israel
Over a month after Afek Oil and Gas began drilling in the Golan Heights, the company is nearing their target depth.
An article in The Jerusalem Post entitled “Visitors flock to see oil drilling underway in Golan Heights” comes as no surprise. Israeli citizens have not had the opportunity to see many drilling operations in Israel’s history.
The article reiterates the positive outlook that Israel’s populace has about exploring for and finding oil in their lands.
Zion Oil’s vision is for an energy independent Israel resulting from large commercial onshore oil discoveries. We believe that Israel not only has the requisite geological elements but also the biblical foundation for oil… It is only a matter of God’s timing.

Dear Zion I understand this is good news and I am thrilled for the discovery. However I am a little grandma in Georgia and I don’t understand all the terms. Could you please tell me simply what does this mean for Zion Oil. I purchased my shares at the beginning and have prayed for you all this time. I am now a widow, lost my husband a year and a half ago and I would love to know what is happening for Zion Oil.
